About Love TrekS

Love TrekS
Love Treks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2020 by Brian Richmond, whose lived experiences in some of the world’s most dangerous and overlooked places shaped the vision for the organization.
Raised in an economically disadvantaged family and later living in regions marked by terrorism, violence, and systemic oppression, Brian saw firsthand the devastating impact of injustice.
Experiences like witnessing bombings, persecution, and the daily erasure of human dignity all ignited his lifelong mission: “trekking through remote, difficult, and hard areas where others fear to go to seek out the oppressed and rescue those that are suffering and afflicted by injustice.”
Since its founding, Love Treks has provided over $50,000 in support for high-risk rescue operations, bringing hope and restoration to some of the world’s most vulnerable women and children.
Motivated by faith and a deep compassion for survivors, Brian built Love Treks on the belief that no life is too hidden to save. Alongside his wife Michele, a clinically licensed therapist specializing in trauma recovery, he ensures that survivors are not only rescued but also cared for holistically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. His personal journey from hardship to advocacy remains the foundation of Love Treks’ values: compassion, restoration, and empowerment.

The Mission
With a mission to provide hope and healing, Love Treks works tirelessly to support some of the most vulnerable individuals—particularly young girls from “Zoreth” who have been sold into brothels by their own families. Through rescue missions and support through a local advocate, Abigail, Love Treks removes children and young women from dangerous, abusive environments, offering them a fresh start.
Survivors receive medical care, counseling, education, and vocational training to help them reintegrate into society and lead independent, fulfilling lives.
From Survival to Strength
Love Treks also supports powerful rescue and advocacy efforts in Pakistan through local advocate Haseeb, a dedicated champion of freedom and justice. During outreach work, Haseeb witnessed the heartbreaking conditions in local brick factories, where children, young girls, and the elderly are forced to work up to 14 hours a day in harsh, abusive environments.
Moved by compassion and faith, he began paying off the debts of enslaved families, breaking generational cycles of bonded labor and giving victims the chance at a new life filled with hope, dignity, and freedom. Haseeb now works tirelessly to rescue victims, especially young girls and children, and to be a testimony of love and restoration. Currently, Haseeb raises between $1,200 to $1,500 per victim, the amount needed to pay off a single family's debt and secure their release from the brick factory system.

Stronger Together
One of Love Trek’s most poignant success stories involves a seven-year-old girl who arrived at the rescue center suffering from severe malnutrition, tuberculosis, and abuse. Today, after years of recovery and support, she is a healthy young woman with a job—living proof of the power of resilience and compassion.
Despite facing significant challenges, such as inconsistent funding, safety risks during rescue missions, and societal stigma surrounding trafficking victims, Love Treks remains steadfast in its commitment. The initiative works closely with local communities, law enforcement, and churches to ensure rescued individuals receive holistic support. Strict child protection policies and collaboration with authorities help address both the physical and emotional needs of survivors.
The Ultimate Goal
In the long term, Love Treks aims to expand its reach by securing sustainable funding, enhancing life skills training, and building stronger reintegration support systems.
The ultimate goal is to dismantle human trafficking networks and restore hope and dignity to every child and woman they rescue.

The Ultimate Goal
To support the cause, Love Treks welcomes fundraising efforts, donations, and volunteers who can offer time, resources, or expertise. By raising awareness, providing shelter, or contributing to rehabilitation efforts, the community plays an essential role in the success of Love Trek’s rescue missions.
